Registers maintained by the Board

The Legal Services Board maintains:

• the Register of legal practitioners and law practices and
• the Register of disciplinary action.

The Register of legal practitioners and law practices provides details of current local legal practitioners, locally-registered foreign lawyers, and law practices that engage in legal practice in Victoria.

It is available for public inspection, without charge, at the Board’s offices.

The Register of disciplinary action provides details of disciplinary action taken against Australian legal practitioners under the Legal Profession Act 2004 or, where relevant, corresponding interstate laws.
